To Be The Pole As Youth’s Identity Category in Hip-hop Culture Context

Abstract:

 

In the text has analyzed, how the relation of youth generation to dominant text of youth culture, qualifies the perception of citizenship as a identification category. It was assumed, according to premises of Birmingham School and David Muggleton's conclusions,  that hip-hop culture is denied, determines the base for subculture - local  expression (is accepted) or treated ambivalently (selectively), as preferring this elements, which are fashionable, on the top. It was assumed was that these three styles of youth culture incorporation are joined to the specific meanings for "citizenship" as a category: according with intergeneration of cultural transmission, attachment to local identity dimension or perceive it as relic because of "style surfing".
